Service Sales Engineer - Senior Level
Job Summary
The Senior Service Sales Engineer is responsible for driving sustainable growth of SKF’s service business by developing and executing value-based sales strategies for reliability solutions, digital services, and performance-based contracts.
This role combines strong technical expertise with consultative selling capability, focusing on delivering measurable customer value through condition monitoring, predictive maintenance, and reliability improvement programs. The position plays a key role in expanding strategic accounts and developing new markets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Business Development
Develop and execute sales strategies for SKF service offerings (Condition Monitoring Product and Project, Reliability Services and Bearing Remanufacturing).
Identify and develop new business opportunities in target industries and strategic accounts
Expand business through distributors and service partners
Build and manage a strong sales pipeline and forecast accuracy
2. Solution Selling & Customer Value Creation
Understand customer pain points and transform them into value-based solutions
Develop and present ROI-driven proposals and business cases
Lead technical and commercial discussions with multi-level stakeholders (maintenance, engineering, management)
Position SKF as a trusted reliability partner, not just a supplier
3. Proposal & Contract Management
Prepare technical proposals, quotations, and service agreements
Negotiate commercial terms and close deals
Support management of service contracts, KPIs, and performance commitments
Ensure smooth handover to execution team and follow-up on delivery performance
4. Market Intelligence & Internal Collaboration
Provide market insights, competitor analysis, and customer feedback
Collaborate with Service Engineers, Application Engineers, and regional/global teams
Support product/service development for Thailand market
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical/ Industrial Engineering or related field.
Experience: 5–8 years in industrial service sales or reliability engineering.
Technical Knowledge: Condition monitoring, rotating equipment, maintenance strategies.
Skills:
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to prepare technical and commercial proposals.
Familiarity with digital tools and systems.
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Self-driven with strong ownership and business mindset
Language: Fluent in Thai and English.
