Food Production Manager
The Food Production Manager (Plant Manager) will lead and elevate overall manufacturing operations for our Davao facility. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence by ensuring production targets are achieved efficiently, safely, and in accordance with quality standards. The successful candidate will play a key role in streamlining workflows, strengthening cost controls, and implementing process improvements that enhance plant performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead overall plant operations to achieve production, quality, and efficiency targets.
Establish and improve operational systems, policies, and procedures.
Monitor performance metrics to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve operational issues and optimize processes.
Ensure full compliance with safety standards, regulations, and company policies.
Manage, develop, and engage plant personnel to drive accountability and performance.
Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams to ensure equipment reliability and uptime.
Oversee plant budgeting, cost control, and resource optimization.
Implement sustainability initiatives to minimize waste and environmental impact.
Drive continuous improvement and innovation by adopting industry best practices.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within multinational organizations, leading local companies, or the pharmaceutical industry.
Proven people‑management experience with strong leadership and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to analyze problems, make sound decisions, and implement effective solutions.
Solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement tools, and efficiency frameworks.
Working knowledge of quality standards, regulatory compliance, and operational controls.
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, performance‑driven manufacturing environment.
