Position: Head Chef
🕒 Employment Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure smooth workflow.
Prepare and maintain authentic Japanese ramen recipes and menu items.
Develop new dishes and seasonal menu offerings.
Ensure food quality, consistency, presentation, and taste standards.
Manage kitchen staff, including scheduling, training, and performance supervision.
Monitor inventory, food costs, and ordering of supplies.
Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and sanitation standards in compliance with regulations.
Coordinate with management to achieve operational and financial goals.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Head Chef, Sous Chef, or Senior Chef in a Japanese restaurant, ramen shop, or related establishment.
Strong knowledge of Japanese cuisine, particularly ramen preparation, broths, noodles, and traditional cooking techniques.
Leadership and team management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of food safety and kitchen sanitation standards.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Culinary certification or related training is an advantage.
