Position: Head Chef

🕒 Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure smooth workflow.

• Prepare and maintain authentic Japanese ramen recipes and menu items.

• Develop new dishes and seasonal menu offerings.

• Ensure food quality, consistency, presentation, and taste standards.

• Manage kitchen staff, including scheduling, training, and performance supervision.

• Monitor inventory, food costs, and ordering of supplies.

• Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and sanitation standards in compliance with regulations.

• Coordinate with management to achieve operational and financial goals.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Head Chef, Sous Chef, or Senior Chef in a Japanese restaurant, ramen shop, or related establishment.

• Strong knowledge of Japanese cuisine, particularly ramen preparation, broths, noodles, and traditional cooking techniques.

• Leadership and team management skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Knowledge of food safety and kitchen sanitation standards.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

• Culinary certification or related training is an advantage.
