Testing Coordinator Role (Garment/Textile Field)
Revolve is searching for a Compliance Assistant to join the team! This individual will report to the Senior Manager of Product Compliance and have the opportunity to support a growing compliance program with innovative initiatives and processes within a growing company. We are looking for someone who is excited to work across multiple segments that include working with the head of the department as well as overseas vendors to ensure the new ideals of compliance are well represented and organized.
What You’ll Do:
• Filter Fabric flammability testing based on 16 CFR Part 1610 – Standard for the Flammability of Clothing Textiles
• Serve as the gatekeeper for all testing and compliance documentation from the compliance department and external labs.
• Review all test reports and verify results against Intertek test protocols to ensure compliance. Escalate any failures to the manager via clear, concise summary emails outlining issues and recommended actions.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure bulk reflective materials are tested prior to production and that test results are received well before shipment.
• Work closely with Intertek to maintain up-to-date testing protocols and flag updates as needed due to changes in global regulatory markets.
• Manage end-to-end flammability testing coordination, ensuring all non-exempt fabrics are tested to U.S. flammability standards and that valid e-file certificates are provided to shippers prior to x-factory.
• Run weekly reports identifying styles with non-exempt fabrics requiring flammability testing and send weekly communications to mills and vendors to coordinate testing with Intertek.
• Trigger performance testing as needed once fabrics are flagged in the line guide and ensure timely follow-ups.
• Coordinate and track all test specimens between mills, vendors, labs, and HQ. Ensure correct HQ contacts receive samples, gather feedback, and close all testing inquiries.
• Provide start-to-finish support for the compliance team across all testing activities.
• Coordinate test specimens and testing samples for product testing and complete test request forms as required.
• Assist with documenting compliance by recording test results, preparing investigative reports, and maintaining product compliance dashboards as needed.
• Act as a primary point of contact and liaison for the supplier base regarding product compliance and testing.
• Organize and streamline documentation and audit reports for the compliance manager as needed.
• Assist the manager in maintaining and updating compliance guidelines.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to improve efficiency through clear communication and consistent testing and product compliance expectations.
What You'll Bring:
● Bachelor’s degree
● 2+ years of experience in product lab testing/compliance/responsible sourcing within global supply chains and/or operations.
● Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills.
● Written and Spoken English
