Learning Sphere is seeking an experienced and passionate Horticultural Trainer & Assessor to join our team on a part-time fixed-term contract basis. There is opportunity to transition into a full-time role as our programs continue to expand.

About the Role

2–3 days per week with a June 2026 start with the ability to deliver across the Cert II, III and IV in Horticulture.

Work closely with our lead AHC trainer to deliver high quality training across our horticulture programs.

Regional travel in NSW required (all travel and accommodation costs covered by Learning Sphere).

We welcome applications from regional NSW and interstate.

About You.

You must have:

  • TAE40122 or equivalent to teach in the VET Sector.

  • Qualifications in horticulture (preferably at Cert III and IV level)

  • Experience and currency in a horticultural environment

  • Comfortable with classroom training and virtual training methods

  • Experience in delivering practical, hands-on training

  • Current and full driver's license

Highly Desirable

  • Certificate III in Parks and Gardens experience

  • Experience working within Job Seeker or pre-employment programs

  • Experience supporting workplace-based traineeship and apprenticeship models

  • Strong industry connections and passion for workforce development
