Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
Licensed Civil Engineer
3-5 years of relevant experience in civil/structural engineering.
Proven experience in warehouse, logistics, or industrial building projects.
Strong exposure to steel structure design and construction.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent technical review and documentation skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with engineers, contractors, and project managers.
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on cost efficiency and constructability.
Ability to work in a multidisciplinary project environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Review and evaluate structural and civil engineering plans for warehouse or industrial-type buildings.
Identify Value Engineering opportunities to optimize design, materials, and construction methods without compromising safety or performance.
Provide technical comments and recommendations on project cost, including potential savings through design improvements.
Coordinate with structural engineers, architects, project managers, and contractors to ensure design feasibility and cost efficiency.
Assess steel structural systems, including frames, trusses, connections, and foundations.
Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, engineering standards, and project specifications.
Support the project team during design review meetings and technical discussions.
Evaluate constructability issues and recommend practical solutions.
Assist in reviewing shop drawings, design revisions, and engineering submissions.
Monitor alignment between design intent and actual construction practices.
