ASSOCIATE LAWYER
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Draft pleadings, legal opinions, and memoranda
Conduct legal research
Appear before trial courts, office of the city prosecutor, and quasi-judicial agencies;
prepare documents for trial, review and/or draft commercial contracts and other legal documents;
Prepare case status reports and/or inventory;
Liaise with clients.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bar-Passer
Post graduate/master’s degree in law
Strong litigation background or interest to be trained in litigation
At least 1-year litigation experience
Excellent writing and oral communication skills (journalistic/writing background a distinct advantage)
Highly motivated and self-driven
Able to work under pressure and with minimal supervision
newly-passed lawyers need not apply
Willing to report for work immediately/asap
