Bookkeeper / Accounting Assistant (WFH | Freelance)
We are looking for a Freelance Bookkeeper / Accounting Support to assist on an freelance basis for a US-based company.
This role is ideal for someone experienced in US bookkeeping systems and Philippine payroll and tax compliance, who is comfortable working independently and managing accounting tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Create, prepare, and submit invoices accurately and timely
Maintain financial records using FreshBooks or QuickBooks
Review, compute, and process Philippine payroll
Handle payroll monitoring, employee deductions, and payroll-related concerns
Prepare and file Philippine taxes and government remittances (BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, etc.)
Assist with bookkeeping tasks, reconciliations, and financial record maintenance
Ensure accuracy, compliance, and proper documentation of accounting processes
Qualifications:
Proven hands-on experience with FreshBooks or QuickBooks
Previous experience working with a US company or supporting US bookkeeping/accounting operations
Strong experience in invoice creation and management
Knowledgeable in Philippine payroll computation and processing
Familiar with Philippine tax filing and statutory compliance requirements
Detail-oriented, organized, and highly reliable
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong communication skills and responsiveness for on-call support
