MATERIAL ENGINEER II-DPWH -ACCREDITED

  • Bachelor’s degree in Materials Engineering, Civil Engineering (with materials specialization), or related field.

  • Must be accredited by the DPWH as Materials Engineer II or eligible for accreditation.

  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) preferred (not always required, but advantageous).

  • At least 1–3 years of relevant experience in material testing, quality control, and construction support.

  • Strong knowledge of DPWH Standard Specifications & Manual of Tests.

  • Proficient in laboratory test procedures, documentation, and reporting.

  • Review and approve material submittals, mix designs, and supplier certifications.

  • Monitor material quality during delivery and placement on-site.

  • Prepare technical reports, test results, and documentation for project records and client submission.

  • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, project engineers, and QC teams.

  • Investigate material failures or non-conformance and recommend corrective measures.

  • Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper calibration.

  • Ensure safety and environmental compliance during material testing and field inspections.
