Laboratory Analyst (La Union)
Responsibilities:
Performs sampling and testing of delivered, pre-processed, pre-qualification, and other special samples
Performs calibration, verification, and maintenance for basic laboratory equipment according to established procedure
Maintains inventory of reagents and safety supplies
Ensures safe waste sample receiving, archiving, and disposal
Conducts Pre-delivery Inspection if needed
Updates Safety Registers as scheduled and delegated by the laboratory engineer
Prepares ARM samples for main oxide testing via XRF in Quality Assurance
Monitors the temperature of the stockpile at the platform area
Submits timely Technical reports needed by the Technical, Commercial, and/or CIP Group
Provides Technical support to other sites without a Geocycle laboratory
Requirements:
Must be a college graduate with a degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Chemical Technology
Must be a licensed Chemical Technician or Chemist
Preferably with experience in an analytical laboratory doing material testing, equipment calibration and method development
Temporary Employment: 1 year
