Documentation Supervisor (Import/Export)-Shipping Line
Job Scope:
Mainly responsible with documentation process of import shipments to ensure that all import shipments are properly manifested and information is correct and submitted in timely manner. Provide supervision and support to export documentation. Acts as next in line of Department Manager.
Responsibilities
Document Management & Control
Authorized signatory for Import D/O, certifications, and export BL
Oversee import manifest preparation, submission of hardcopy, and final validation/registration of electronic manifest
Monitors and prepare schedule of incoming vessels to prepare import manifest Ensure timely submission and prevent related penalties
Quality Assurance
Review documents (BL/Manifest/Invoices, etc.) for accuracy, completeness, and consistency
Coordinate with relevant departments to correct discrepancies
