A Store Manager has a critical role in ensuring smooth operations, achieving sales targets, and maintaining brand standards.
Store Operations - Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards. Manage inventory levels, conduct stock checks, and reduce shrinkage. Maintain visual merchandising according to Mango's Guidelines.
Team Leadership - Train and onboard new employees. Supervise, mentor, and motivate store staff to achieve performance goals. Create schedules and manage employee shifts to ensure optimal coverage. Conduct regular team meetings to communicate sales targets and company updates.
Sales and Customer Service - Drive sales and meet or exceed store revenue goals. Deliver exceptional customer service by ensuring the team adheres to Mango's service standards. Handle escalated customer service inquiries and complaints efficiently.
Financial Management - Manage the store's budget and control operational cost. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports. Monitor cash handling procedures and ensure accurate transactions.
Marketing and Brand Representation - Promote Mango's brand identity and ensure consistency in store representation. Execute in-store promotions, events, or campaigns to boost sales. Collaborate with marketing teams for local advertising and outreach.
Problem-Solving and Decision-making - Identify operational challenges and implement effective solutions. Handle emergencies, such as system breakdowns, theft, or staffing shortages. Adapt to changing trends and customer needs to improve store performance.
Compliance and Safety - Ensure compliance with local labor laws and health and safety regulations. Maintain security measures to protect employees, customers and merchandise. Conduct regular audits and inspections to meet compliance standards.
REQUIREMENTS:
A bachelor's degree in business administration, retail management, or a related field (preferred but not always mandatory)
Proven experience in retail, preferably in a supervisory or management role of at least 2-5 years.
Strong background in sales and customer service.
Experience managing teams and operations in a fast-paced environment.
Passion for Fashion and knowledge of current trends.
Attention to detail and an eye for visual merchandising.
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
Physical ability to stand for an extended period.
Understanding of local labor laws and retail compliance requirements (preferred)

Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Merchandising, Entrepreneurship, or similar (preferred)
At least 1-2 years previous managerial experience preferred (fashion retail a plus)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
