Pollution Control Officer
Job Description
Supervise the construction contractor's PCO to ensure proper implementation of waste management, soil erosion protection, and pollution control systems.
Manage the proper disposal of solid waste, construction debris, and hazardous waste
Conduct site inspections, oversee environmental monitoring (air, water, noise), and prepare/submit Self-Monitoring Reports (SMR) and Compliance Monitoring Reports (CMR).
Identify environmental hazards during construction or maintenance and implement corrective actions.
Act as the primary liaison between the solar project management, contractors, and environmental agencies (DENR/EMB).
Job Qualifications
Accredited/Certified PCO by DENR.
1 or more years of experience in environmental compliance, preferably in construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects.
Knowledge of local environmental laws, strong report writing skills, and proficiency in MS Office.
