HR Manager

Why join us? We’re a global tech company, just not the kind you’re picturing. Sure, we’ve got catered lunches, team events, cool merch, and yes... dogs in the office.

But that’s not why people join. Our team of nearly a thousand people wakes up every day to make our product and our customers’ lives better. At SafetyCulture, you’ll hear “yes, let’s give it a shot” more often than “that’s not how we do things here.”

People join because we’re building tools that make work better for the 3 billion people who keep the world moving - factory floor operators, baggage handlers, truck drivers, servers, store assistants. The ones who make things happen. We’ve got the scale and innovation you’d expect from big tech.

The difference? No endless layers of sign-off. No corporate theatre.

Just smart, experienced people solving real problems fast. The scale is big. But the ownership’s personal.

Every full-time team member gets equity - real skin in the game. When we grow, you do too. We’re not perfect, no company is.

But this next chapter of our growth is about scaling with intelligence, not just size - fueled by operational maturity, a clear vision, and a strong focus on AI. This is big tech impact, without the big tech ick. If that excites you more than it scares you, you’ll fit right in.

As HR Manager, you will serve as a trusted advisor to Manila leaders, including the Head of Support and Director, Scaled Success, combining strategic people partnering with strong operational HR leadership. As a member of the Manila Senior Leadership Team, you will proactively address complex people challenges, enable informed decision-making, and support the delivery of ambitious business goals. Oversee day-to-day people operations, ensuring accurate execution and approvals across onboarding, offboarding, employee movements, salary changes, and system updates in HiBob. Leverage people data to generate insights, inform people strategies, and drive high-quality decision-making.

Provide expert coaching and guidance on employee relations and performance management, ensuring fair, consistent outcomes and full compliance with local labour laws. Ensure policies are regularly reviewed, updated, communicated, and audited, including compliance with policy acknowledgements and SOC2 requirements. Actively contribute to cross-functional and global People & Culture initiatives to scale systems, policies, and programs across locations.

What you bring to the role: Demonstrated experience in a strategic HR Manager role partnering within a high-growth, fast-paced environment. Deep and current knowledge of Philippine labour laws, with the ability to apply them pragmatically in a commercial context. Strong commercial acumen and the ability to drive commercial outcomes.

Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously, providing clear, confident direction and well-reasoned recommendations to leaders at all levels including the Executive Leadership Team if required. Exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills, with credibility and impact across all levels of the organisation. A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset, consistently identifying opportunities to add value, streamline processes, and mitigate risks before they emerge.

Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently, supported by strong planning, prioritisation, time management, and organisational capabilities. Strong analytical capability, leveraging data and insights to inform decisions, shape recommendations, and drive outcomes. Highly adaptable communication style, tailored to effectively engage and influence diverse audiences.
