Korea Visa Application Center is an organization for providing services related to visas upon approval from the embassy and consulate according to the law of The Republic of Korea. It is not a sub-organization of the embassy or consulate of Korea.

Job Description

Visa Application Intake:
Greet and assist visa applicants, ensuring positive and welcoming experience.
Receive and review visa application documents, verifying their completeness and accuracy.
Enter applicant information into the visa processing system with attention to detail and data accuracy.
Provide guidance to applicants regarding visa requirements, application procedures and relevant documentation.

Document Verification:
Conduct initial verification of Visa application documents to ensure compliance with immigration regulations and internal policies.
Identify any missing or incorrect information, notifying applicants and providing instructions for correction.
Collaborate with the visa center or consular staff to resolve complex document-related issues.

Customer Service:
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints and offering guidance to visa applicants.
Handle routine inquiries related to visa applications, processing times and document requirements.
Maintain a professional and helpful demeanor when dealing with applicants, demonstrating empathy and patience.
Record Keeping and Data management:
Maintain accurate and up to date records of visa applications, payments, and other relevant information.
Ensure confidentiality and security of applicant data and documents.
Generate reports on visa application statistics, documents discrepancies, and customer feedback as required.
Collaboration and Coordination:
Liaise with internal departments, such as visa center staff or consular officers, to coordinate visa application processes and resolve issues.
Assist in coordinating visa appointments schedules and managing queues to ensure efficient and timely service delivery.
Collaborate with team members to share information, provide support and maintain a cohesive work environment.
Compliance and Adherence to Policies:
Follow established immigration regulations, visa processing guidelines, and internal policies to ensure compliance and maintain the integrity of the visa application process.
Stay updated on changes in visa requirements and immigration policies.

Job Qualifications

QUALIFICATION
- Strong written and verbal communication skill (Fluent in English and Korean)
- Bachelor’s degree
- Korean TOPIK passer is an advantage
- Work experience in a visa center is an advantage.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proficiency in all MS office programs.
- Strong analytical skills
- Willingness and flexibility to work weekends, evenings and holidays as needed
- Knowledge of International relations.
- Previous experience in a customer service role is highly desirable.
- High tolerance in dealing with irate visa applicants
- Knowledge of Visa requirements, immigration regulations, and Visa application procedures is an advantage.
