Senior Civil Estimator | AU Experience | WFH/Remote

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Senior Civil Estimator to manage cost estimation and bid preparation for infrastructure projects, including bridge works, drainage, and FRP construction. The role involves reviewing project specifications, conducting material take-offs, and ensuring compliance with industry standards, including TMR (QLD) regulations. This role is critical for ensuring accurate cost assessments and project feasibility in large-scale civil engineering projects.

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for infrastructure projects, including bridge works and drainage.
• Conduct material take-offs and assess labour, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Analyse engineering drawings and project specifications to ensure compliance with TMR (QLD) regulations.
• Develop and maintain cost databases for accurate pricing and forecasting.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and assess project risks.
• Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to refine estimates and scope.
• Review supplier and subcontractor quotes to ensure competitive and accurate pricing.

Requirements/Skills needed:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in civil estimation, infrastructure projects, or related experience.
• Proficiency in estimation software such as Cubit, CostX, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of FRP, drainage systems, and bridge construction.
• Familiarity with TMR (QLD) standards and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.

Additional Job Details:

• Set-up and Location: WFH/Remote (but may require occasional onsite presence depending on the situation)
• Work Schedule: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (AEST) | 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM (PH Time)
• Employment Type: Full-time
