Job Description

As a Web Developer & Designer, you will develop adviser websites, digital assets, and marketing materials, including newsletters, presentations, and social media content. You’ll manage website hosting, domain registration, and email setup while utilizing WordPress CMS. With expertise in digital design, videography, and content creation, you’ll provide technical support and creative solutions across digital channels.

Shift: Day Shift; Mon - Fri, 7 AM - 4 PM, Weekends Off

Work Setup: Onsite, Across all Emapta PH sites (Cebu, NCR, Baguio, Davao and Pampanga)

The Qualifications We Seek

Essential

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in WordPress development and management, UX/UI, accessibility, and website security.
• Strong web development skills, including domain registration, hosting, WordPress plugins, and coding languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP).
• Familiarity with social media platforms and their marketing role.
• Intermediate skills in videography and post-production.
• Knowledgeable in HTML, JavaScript, PHP, CSS, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office 365.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
• Integrity, professionalism, and a positive attitude.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience with Mailchimp and SurveyMonkey.
• Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Computer Science, or related fields.
• WordPress developer certification with at least two years of experience.
• Understanding of website structure, user engagement, and digital marketing strategies.
• Proactive with process improvements and strong analytical skills.

Your Daily Tasks

• Support corporate marketing initiatives under the Head of Marketing and Communications.
• Develop marketing materials using Adobe InDesign, Canva, and social media platforms.
• Ensure all materials adhere to Capstone’s brand guidelines.
• Monitor and update Capstone websites and intranet using CMS and HTML/CSS.
• Manage web and digital marketing activities, including SEO and SEM, using analytics tools.
• Create digital media content: presentations, videos, social media posts, EDMs, infographics.
• Assist in HTML and CSS coding for Capstone projects as needed.
• Develop and maintain WordPress websites for Capstone advisers.
• Manage domain registration, email setup, and web hosting.
• Optimize SEO content, write web copy, and ensure website security.
• Provide technical support and training to advisers on website management.
• Develop social media content and assist advisers in managing social media accounts.
• Maintain Capstone’s Vimeo page and edit webinar videos.
• Customize newsletters and bulletins using Adobe InDesign.
• Contribute to various ad hoc projects as required.
