Credit Analyst for SBM Leasing (Cebu)
The Role
As a Financial Analyst for SBM Leasing (Cebu), you will be responsible for evaluating an assigned company according to the inherent risks and opportunities that the company may be able to undertake. You will recommend the appropriate facilities and level of business that the Bank may be able to undertake with the said Entity.
How you'll contribute
- Conducts financial evaluation and prepares re-casted financial statements as needed for a more thorough evaluation of the accounts.
- Gathers data and prepares comprehensive analyses and reports based on the submitted client documents and data for submission to the Sales Team for purposes of including the same in the CP.
- Recommends credit facilities appropriate for the business requirements and the bank's risk appetite to align the facility to industry/bank standards.
- Recommends the appropriate security level, loan terms, conditions, and the like.
- Monitors industry/market trends to determine the performance of companies to ensure data-driven recommendations based on market conditions.
- Ensures timely recognition of deterioration of risk and recommends or takes appropriate actions to re-classify accounts as needed.
- Prepares client scorecards that will determine its risk rating, and line accounts security to ensure the comprehensive assessment of the account.
What we’re looking for
- Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce, Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking
- Preferably with 1-2 years of relevant experience in credit risk evaluation and financial statement evaluation
- Open to fresh graduates
- Should have good analytical, critical thinking, and numerical reasoning skills
- Able to manage multiple sources of information
