UI/UX Designer
As a UI/UX Designer, you will focus on building, maintaining, and improving Security Bank’s Design Language System and Design Library used across the bank’s different applications and digital experiences. You will create components, ensure accuracy of their specifications, and collaborate with Product Teams, Business Analysts, and Developers to ensure our designs are translated as intended
How you'll contribute
- Create, revise, and maintain individual components and design specifications
- Coordinate with product teams and designers on new components that can be used/explored
- Create and present components, ideally backed by insights gathered from research and testing, industry standards
- Conduct extensive design audits (iOS, Android, Web) • Responsible for a consistent look and feel of the organization’s digital experiences (UI).
- Analyze and interpret data gathered from user research and testing as well as existing data sources of the bank to look for UI/UX enhancement opportunities and formulate recommendations to other departments.
- Work closely with different teams and ensure team visibility and transparency throughout the entire design process (from planning up to post-development).
- Spread UX awareness throughout the organization by partnering with other departments or reaching out to those in need of UI/UX audit for their products/services.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in any field
- With at least 5 years experience as a UI/UX Designer
- With experience in making or enhancing components for Design Library
- Proficient in Figma, design systems, design libraries, component creation and documentation
- Experience designing for native platforms (iOS, Android, Web)
- Has good communication and presentation skills, and can defend designs to stakeholders and other departments
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) is a plus
- Knowledge in UI design principles is a plus (with sample portfolio)
