Business Intelligence Developer/Data Engineer (Hybrid)

Responsibilities:

  • Work with business specialists to gather project requirements
  • Conduct appropriate data analysis during the report development
  • Create and automate standardized reports using SQL
  • Write relational and complex queries that will satisfy the report specifications
  • Validate report to ensure data accuracy
  • Create guidelines and documentations to help end users run the report

Requirements:

  • Must have at least 1 year experience using the Power BI Tool (data Pipelines, creating data flows, data modeling, use of DAX, assigning security access and creating reports (data visualization).
  • Must have at least 1 year experience using SSIS, SSRS.
  • Skilled on SQL from simple to complex queries. 
  • Experience with JSON format data sources and parsing.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer with a focus on Azure cloud platform, Fabric, etc.
  • Experience with data modeling, schema design, and database optimization.
  • Proficient in Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
  • Proficiency in Python, R or other programming languages for data manipulation and transformation, is a plus
  • Azure certifications such as Azure Data Engineer Associate is a plus.
  • Experience with machine learning and AI is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Must be willing to work flexible schedules (including weekends and holidays)
