HR Officer - Recruitment
Description
The HR Officer provides technical and administrative support in any or a combination of the following HR Operations areas:
a. Recruitment, Testing, Selection and Hiring;
b. Compensation and Benefits;
c. Employer-Employee Relations;
d. Health and Wellness;
e. General HR Administrative Services; and
f. Related HRIS
This position assists in the conceptualization, development, review and implementation of programs and policies in their assigned areas of responsibility, presents recommendations and implements approved solutions towards the improvement and enhancement of systems and processes in support of business requirements. The position holder ensures that work allocated to him/her is completed in accordance with set KPIs, measures, and targets. This position addresses tight deadlines and a multitude of highly integrated human resource activities.
In the performance of these duties, he/she needs to partner, collaborate and coordinate with internal staff and officers and external services providers. He/she should be able to relate well at all levels, gather reliable and accurate information essential for decision-making and achieve productive partnerships through interpersonal communication skills both written and oral.
Reports to: Head of HR Operations
Supervises: Junior HR Officers, HR Specialists, HR Assistants as may be assigned
Internal Coordination: Managers, Supervisors and Staff
External Coordination: Service Providers, Government agencies
General Duties and Responsibilities
· Obtains correct data or information and maintains a thorough understanding of the human resource/training and development management objectives and requirements of the Company
· Assists in conceptualizing, developing, setting up and installing the necessary infrastructure, systems and procedures that will promote efficient and effective management of HR Operations areas
· Partners with other department personnel and wins their support towards the achievement of HR policies, procedures and programs
· Maintains accurate and updated database system for HR Operations management information towards secure storage, efficient data retrieval and well-informed decision-making
· Creates and recommends new procedures, changes, improvements of existing ones to enhance HR Operations procedures and processes
Minimum Requirements for Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology or Business Administration with emphasis in Human Resources Management or Industrial Relations
· At least 2 Years work experience as HR Specialist or HR Officer in any of the above areas of HR Operations
· Basic knowledge and training in labor laws, rules and regulations in HR Operations areas.
