As a Senior Shared Services Manager, you will oversee critical Accounts Payable and Cash Management functions for a $700+ million OTC pharmaceuticals manufacturer. The Qualifications We Seek
- 12+ years of senior managerial experience in all aspects of a shared services provider, including Accounts Payable, Cash Management, Forecasting, and Reporting.
- Capability to evolve into a full Shared Services leadership role, encompassing Accounts Receivable responsibilities.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry within a high-volume transactional department is required.
- Expertise in all aspects of Accounts Payable reporting, supplier interfacing, and cash application processes.
- Proven ability to develop and implement strong processes to ensure supplier credits are accurately applied.
- Demonstrated experience managing multi-million-dollar weekly payment processing.
- Established track record of progressive leadership, including managing and mentoring teams effectively.
Your Daily Tasks
- Lead the Accounts Payable (A/P) and Cash Management functions for a $700+ million OTC pharmaceuticals manufacturer.
- Develop and manage a high-performing team, offering guidance and strategic direction.
- Create and maintain detailed metrics and reports to track:
- Supplier payables aging.
- Adjustments to payable balances, such as credits.
- Top supplier balances (current and delinquent) with focused explanations.
- A/P trends segmented by supplier, year, and other key factors.
- Manage cash activities, including setting up supplier payments via wire transfers, ACH, and checks.
- Maintain accurate cash balances and rolling cash forecasts.
- Oversee periodical audits involving A/P and supplier data with lenders and external auditors.
- Manage supplier terms initiatives, ensuring accurate updates in Oracle as needed.
- Collaborate with the Procurement team to ensure completeness and accuracy of supplier master data.
- Foster the professional development of A/P staff by establishing annual goals and objectives aligned with company initiatives.
- Provide regular performance feedback to team members to support growth and improvement.
