    people-oriented who?
The good thingsRecruitment process is very easy, and only a few days process. The work itself requires strong analytical skills but they can only offer so much skill set.
The challengesThey don't train you or upskill you. They don't care for your career advancement and only care for their own profit. People-orientedness is a facade only especially now that we're on a pandemic. They will cut you off without any warning, no matter what big your contribution is to the company.

Not recommended for those who are looking for career security and stability
The good thingsGood working environment. People are friendly.
The challengesThey don't care about their people. They will fire you without any proper and justifiable reason. You will wake up one day and you are no longer required to report to work. Not recommended for those who are seeking career security and stability.

Great Opportunity and Good Working Environment
The good thingsZEN Rooms is a great opportunity for someone who wants to do more than one thing. Since it's a start up, a lot of the processes are still being established and management is pretty open on your suggestions to improve it or make it more efficient. The work environment her is also pretty pleasant and everyone is welcoming.
The challengesZEN expects a lot from its employees regardless if you have prior experience or not. Of course, it's not necessarily a bad thing as you can use this as your motivation to always do better. Our base salary package is pretty competitive but I feel like our other benefits like HMO is below the standards of the market.

Its the best start-up company for someone who wants a challenging and growing experience
The good thingsA challenging environment fit for those looking for something new to do every day. Great management, fun and diverse set of people from different regions, great working atmosphere, not your typical every-day office.
The challengesSince it is a start-up company, the base salary per role/ position is quite low compared to the ordinary salary range.

Great working environment and more career opportunities
The good thingsZen gives plenty opportunities for both career and personal growth, encourages work life balance, no dress code, plus flexible schedule.
The challengesFast paced working environment but this is a great challenge to improve knowledge, skills, and attitude

    Technologically Advanced & Diverse Environment
The good thingsAs a startup, the work pace is really fast, but ZEN ensures that its employees can keep up with the global hotel industry through its technology. ZEN makes use of different software that make task coordination, team communication, and payroll checking much easier for everyone. The work environment also encourages growth even for those with entry-level jobs, and everyone is incredibly welcoming and accommodating regardless of how high up they are in the company. There are people from different backgrounds, culturally and career-wise, so you're guaranteed to pick up useful insights from your colleagues. Other work perks include free lunch on Fridays, fresh fruit every morning, unlimited coffee, and 30% off when you book a room!
The challengesWith the rapid growth of the company, the BGC office might be getting smaller as it gains more employees. Also, it takes a lot for you to be paid for working overtime - You have to file a request for it, and it must be approved.

    Young and Innovative
The good thingsZEN Rooms emphasizes the initiative from each and every employee. With a flatter environment, each and every person's opinion is taken into consideration, and the company as a whole is very open to new ideas.
The challengesGiven that this is a fairly new company, structures and systems have not been solidified yet. However, this is also an opportunity for growth.

Great for young, smart, entrepreneurial individuals looking for a rapid-growing career or building something from the ground-up
The good thingsAbove market starting salary, rapid promotion, flat hierarchy wherein anyone with great idea can take ownership and make it happen, people are encouraged to stand up and take ownership, rapid decision making, smart and empowered employees
The challengesMany things present in corporate organisations are not yet established given that it is a start-up

Collaborative and Performance Based Working Environment
The good thingsPeople: Overall, it's a great environment to learn and grow as you're surrounded by individuals who are top performers in their field as well as being very passionate about their work. It is a great motivator everyday to constantly be around people who give their 110% in everything they do professionally. It's also a very young and fun environment; everyone in the office is so warm and accepting. Management: They are not micro managers unless necessary. Typically, they give you full accountability with your work and will only really check on you once or twice a week if they see that you are constantly reaching your KPIs. They also listen to your opinions on matters as long they are logically sound and valid. They're also very warm with people. Most managers you can see them genuinely caring about their employees. Opportunities for Growth: There are so many opportunities for growth within the company. Upper management gives credit where credit is due and high performing individuals are typically promoted quite quickly. Job fulfillment: There is always a sense of purpose in what I do. One thing I like about the company is that they always make me realize the value of what I do. They always ensure people of their necessity within the company, that what they do matters.
The challengesBenefits: Our HMO plan could be better; there are a lot of people whose needs exceed what we are actually given - there is no coverage for mental health issues. Risk management: Management is VERY risk averse to the point where it can sometimes be harmful already because we are losing out on opportunities of efficiency and growth.

Bad work/life balance but big room for career growth
The good thingsFree food fridays, BGC office, Young and diverse office, lots of room for career growth.
The challengesA lot of work that will be given to you will not be on your JD. No overtime pay (for my department) despite requiring us to work overtime each week. Bad work/life balance.

The challengesManagement does not value their employees. Management's priority is the income of the company. Office is very small and located in a basement parking lot of a building in BGC

    It was okay.
The good thingsThe work itself is pretty basic. But there are a lot of processes that new agents would be stumped but is easily learned. The team leads are approachable and my manager has been a great help.
The challengesPersonallyit is my travel time to and from my house. I live in QC and the office is in Makati. Although it is not that far, daily traffic make it challenging to honor my schedule.
