Good company to work with...(plus humble and understandable managers)
The good thingsFor management, they are so understandable and caring and currently we are in a WFH setup because of pandemic, they hear your concerns like now they have a HMO benefit and etc. For development team they are so friendly even if you are new, so fun to work with and you'll learn new technologies.
The challengesAt first it is hard to communicate because of language barriers with the Japanese, but as time passes you will get to used to it and see that they are approachable

If you're looking for a great experience, then the search is over
The good thingsYou will always be a part of a project with major contributions. There will always be a tasks and if there is none there is always be improvement and studies that will be assigned to you because the company aims to produce skillful employee that can benefit the company clients. The most things that I like in the management is that they are always open for suggestions which you can suggest during monthly kamustahan session meetings.
The challengesI think all managers are always busy so they failed to recognize employees' efforts and performance. Management fail to evaluate my performance properly 3 times but that one in the past, but in the current time I can say they improving. In the past, the promotion is too slow it's like they don't give attention to those kinds of things If you got stuck in a maintenance project then expect that your effort and performance will not be recognized by the manager's which will surely affect your evaluation salary increase. The time that you are reading this they might have improved according to all reviews so expect you might experience a whole new experience regardless of the review and rating that you have read, Thank you, and happy programming with us here at YNS

Has great care to their employees
The good things- Giving feedback to employees for Personal Growth - Provides opportunities to explore and develop your knowledge and skills - Offers incentive programs and HMO - WFH - Fun and Appreciative (Quarterly General Assembly - Games and Recognition) - Listens to employee's thoughts and opinions (Kamustahan Session)
The challengesSometimes, if needed, rendering an overtime work for some consecutive days. But the management is now trying to overcome this challenge.

A great company to work for!
The good thingsVery understanding and caring management. They always put the employees' welfare as the top priority (WFH setup due to pandemic, HMO, Cash Assistance when you badly need it, and most importantly, emotional support). Plus, you'll get to learn lots of stuff and new technologies since the company is very diverse when it comes to the technology it is using.
The challengesIt might be hard to communicate to other members at first because of the language barrier (Filipino, Japanese and Vietnamese have different accents) but you'll get used to it in just a few weeks.

Laid-back company to work with, Kind and considerate managers
The good thingsWe currently work from home. There's not much pressure. Managers are considerate of your personal and professional welfare as shown in the regular Kumustahan sessions.
The challengesKind-of budget conscious which is understandable because it's still a start-up company
