The company gives trainings to their employees
The good thingsEveryone is understanding and can learn a lot of things from the company.
The challengesI think the only challenge is that most of the employees are working remotely since our clients are from other country.

Good place to start, but not a place to grow
The good thingsGood place to start your career, you get to handle different kinds: writing bids, doing surveys, making reports, presenting to clients. You learn a little bit of everything. Flexitime is good for those who want to do masters, they will allow adjustments in schedule. Support for trainings but most of these are employee-initiated. You also have to compete for resources/available training funds. Decent work-life balance, overtimes are rare. High ethical standards and global management puts effort in implementing risk management and due diligence standards.
The challengesDecent initial pay but it doesn't get better over the years, while your responsibilities double or triple. You learn a little bit of everything but that's it, you never develop any marketable skills. Management seems to think your developed skills are not really that useful too, because they don't give corresponding raises equivalent to effort, results or improvement. No corporate ladder, no minimum/expected qualifications to get a promotion and everything is just arbitrary (kung swertehin/ma-timingan ka lang). Always promised a raise that never comes. Young employees who are eager to prove themselves always get the short end of the stick. There's an employee development program where you set goals every year and is very good on paper but it's not really monitored or implemented. After 1-2 years, salary is way behind industry standards. They put undue pressure to young professionals and high-performers (both technical and non-technical staff), and assign critical tasks to people even if the people don't have training or background on the work. They expect good results and quality output even when higher ups don't follow the quality standards and processes. Heard "pwede na yan" too many times coming from bosses. No bonuses, and benefits are limited and not even equal to the other WSP office. Management should pay attention to what kind of support employees need. These are all things that can be addressed if they just recognized the problem.

    Working with PB
The good thingsPB thinks of the welfare of its employees. All procedures and policies created benefits both the employees and the company. They recognize employees' loyalty and those who performs well. PB prepares their employees to next stage of their career through different training and create programs for their individual development that employees may use both to their personal and working activities.
The challengesInteraction with different kind of people (local and expat), superiors and other stakeholders because there are times that they have different requirements that sometimes are conflicting. Another is job assignment to different location that you don't know that there some risks you have to face and other thing that is difficult for me is I ám away from my family but need to work for them

    Long term job
The good thingsGreat boss and open to all. he even don't have door (meaning office) he is included in our workstation area. Approachable and understanding. Every month he treat us all like pizza or donut. The company itself for me is very good like in terms of benefits other than 13th month, HMO, etc. we have anniversary bonus, attendance bonus. And my colleagues are very professional and fun to work with.
The challengesIn this company every day we face to different client that are very professional in terms of this industry. The challenges are we need to follow different standards depends on client need. We also need to accomplish what they need within a certain period of time. sometimes the work is overloaded to each of us and more challenging is how to deal with the client for them to be satisfy even not finis
