It was amazing as I learned about the concept of food supply chain.The good thingsWhat I really enjoyed well was when I travelled a lot. I went to different provinces in the Caraga Region. It also enlightens my knowledge about Agricultural Marketing, how farm products were being distributed in the food supply chain. Not only that, due to Winrock, it widens my consciousness about the status of our farmers, how they helped us providing us food, and making our country food sufficient. My experience working as an Enumerator gives a new perspective on the importance of not wasting food whenever we eat anywhere because its the result of blood and sweat of our farmers. Food loss is a concept that is treacherous in the Food Production System, and Winrock taught me that concept.
The challengesThe challenges of working from this company were approaching marketing agents because nothing is easy in them. Oftentimes, these marketing agents were hard to find. They transferred a lot from place to place. So it is my job to make an adjustment and analyze the situation that would benefit me and the company itself.
