    Great benefits and working experience
The good thingsThe managers and co-workers are all friendly and open-minded. Discussions and knowledge sharing are highly encouraged among employees. The workload for most positions are very specific, with each duties delegated to multiple teams within a specific department. There's also good opportunities for career growth, as employees are all exposed to seminars and training. Promotions, salary increases and rotations are quite common as well. Once you become a regular employee the benefits package offered is quite good, compared to most companies.
The challengesAlthough the company culture encourages employees to be open, the top management seems very hands-on, which others may find off-putting. The office location may turn off some people as the place floods easily and the surrounding environment is not sanitary and under developed. The evaluation process for regularization is very strict. Employees are required to undergo exams and interviews for the evaluation process.

    Toxic Working Environment
The good thingsGood pay and benefits
The challengesSupervisors and managers are too high on theirselves. Management is horrible when it comes to employees who are not regular yet. Drivers and warehouse staffs are not priorities for regularisation. Not stable company. Very stressful working environment. So many toxic people. Has many debts on suppliers. Doesn't give importance on employees who are going out on the field. Long hours of work.

    Don't bother apply!
The good thingsNothing I can recall.
The challengesThe management itself is the most difficult challenge. Salary is always delayed. Managers are useless and incompetent in the fields they are assigned in.

    Things are looking up
The good thingsThe company has been through rough times, especially during the transition from the original founder to her successor son. But everything is looking up now. 1. The company moved to a much better, easily accessible, very beautiful main office. 2. 30 days paid leave + other benefits 3. Free meals, free snacks, free use of the gym 4. Options for sponsored trainings and seminars for personal development 5. Competent pay 6. The company is currently doing exciting projects with private institutions and the national government 7. Reputable business partners 8. Smart people for colleagues
The challengesThere is no perfect company. Vibal cannot please everyone but it tries its best to better cater to its employees. Surveys are conducted every now and then to measure employee satisfaction and benchmarking activities are rolled out to push personal growth and development. This being the real world, you will have the misfortune of occasionally working with rather unbearable people inside. But note that these characters do not represent the whole workforce. The rest of the bunch really are beautiful, hardworking, smart people. Oh, and long hours. That one's a drag.

finding your pursuit of happiness doesn't exist
The good thingsthe only good thing here is the iMac unit for each employee. Another thing, Vibal publishing offers a fair perks for regular employee. It also has a compressed working schedule so you can have more time with your family and friends.
The challengesThe company has no consideration for contractual employee. The monthly salary you have agreed upon was different from the exact amount you'll receive on your pay date. Another thing, the bundy clock is not always in Philippine Standard time. The management is not also good. The system is too vague that the channelling of information is not well disseminated.

working at Vibal Foundation's Phil. Online Chronicles
The good thingsEven if I am a freelance contributing writer in this organization's news and information portal, it is a good experience because the organization gives respect to sectors of society that we feature in our news items. This is not an everyday occurrence in Philippine society and it's great that Vibal as a company recognizes equality, specially giving chance for it to thrive.
The challengesThe pay for each article and photo is just too low by any standards in the publishing industry. This is why if you want to be a committed writer, you shouldn't hinge all your earnings in this one basket alone. While the company is great to write for, the payment in POC is very low and it gets delayed for several months. I think their cheque system should be rehashed.
