Very good work life balance
The good thingsWorking in UPLB is like working in a park. It has a good environment if there is a need to destress. There are lots of sports facilities that helps you keep your body in shape. People are friendly and willing to be of service to you.
The challengesSince it is not the main campus, it still does not live up to its potential. An example of which is the procurement of ANSYS, the full access of which is limited only to UP Diliman. There are workarounds but not the type of accessibility same with the main campus.

Good experience but too many desk work
The good thingsIf you like teaching, then this is a good experience. The students you will handle are already matured so you won't have to worry about lecturing them with their behavior too much. The schedule is quite flexible but it depends on your institute/department.
The challengesThough I liked the teaching part, there is too much desk work that somewhat affected my time to prepare for teaching. There was not enough training to prepare first-time teachers. The faculty room needs more work though.
