I had a very fruitful employment where opportunities to discover and enhance one's skills are provided within an environment where family spirit is felt.
The good thingsThe opportunities to work in several offices and the trust is given to me while I carried on my tasks.
The challengesThe challenge I found is that the company needs to sustain its momentum at every accomplishment.

It was a great experience working with a new environment and working with a great people.
The good thingsI enjoyed working in this company since I was able to build my skills and broaden my knowledge. Also since they take good care of their employees.
The challengesMaybe I can say that one of the challenges I encountered was my lack of initiative. Since there are times that my Supervisor won't tell me the things or task to do.

    Academic Freedom
The good thingsI greatly appreciated the teaching environment where I have the freedom to develop my teaching style. When given the opportunity to focus on less subjects to teach, I had the opportunity to gain more knowledge, do more research, and know more about myself.
The challengesMy department was not a big one at the time, so I understand that I had to be given more subjects to teach that what I can handle. This is challenging for both the teacher and student. This can be very frustrating especially when you feel you cannot provide your best. Also, salaries could be improved, or opportunities for more income sources could be explored, such as research studies.

    My UC Experience
The good thingsThe University offers a lot of opportunities for individual growth and career advancement. In terms of pay, UC offers a competitive salary for its teachers which is not unusual since it is one of the leading universities in the northern part of the Philippines!
The challengesThe working environment is highly competitive so you should give your best shot in everything. The University also attracts brilliant students in the region so you have to be always ahead and do your homework before you go to your classes.
