The challengesWell, every work is challenging, every company have it's own cons and pros but I must say, thru these challenges I am what I am today. I am really thankful to Steeltech. It's just that opportunities to go up in a higher level in my case is quite not possible but I do understand tho. Cause it depends on your position. But still there are career development here as well in many ways. You'll surely love working with Steeltech.

So far so good.
The good thingsThe environment is really light. The owners are hands-on with regards to managing their people and business. Easy to reason out with and listens to your voice.
The challengesSince we are field employees, we sometimes meet challenges along the way. #1 is we do not have company vehicles which is one of the greatest challenges knowing we bring with us a lot of papers, files inside folders and loaded envelopes, reciepts, etc PLUS we are always on the go and on call.

It's a great experience working here.
The good thingsNew knowledge and experiences,the environment as well.i love how my seniors treat me. The company also provide free training for us merchandiser. They also shoulder the transportation expenses. I also gained more knowledge in customer service. I learn about inventory and pull outs. I also learned how to annalize priducts that are in demand and not. I become more confident in talking to different kinds of people.
The challengesWorking in a hardware is not that easy you need to carry heavy objects like tiles and sement. Even if my item is only stelteech(colored roofing) you need to assist customers to other things they wanted to buy. The most challenging part of this work is that you will know how to estimate materials that would be put in a certain projects like houses,buildings and roofings.just like a real engineers.

I was able to work not only for training, but also with other teams as well. I had a diverse functions and tasks which is good because it made me open up more to new things.
The good thingsThere are a lot of benefits i.e., Food. The people are friendly. The boss are down to earth and they always do things that they think would be good for all.
The challengesThere was one person who doesn't really like my personality, and I can't help but be awkward about what I do around her.

The good thingsI enjoyed the culture of USTIC as it promotes freedom and you will enjoy working here, you'll feel not really working since it is not all about work but there is so many activites that you will encounter.
The challengesIt has Saturdays and I got a hard time going to work early since I came from Makati.

No Career Growth Here!
The good thingsGood incentive scheme when I started working here. Then, Management
eventually changes the incentive scheme at the middle of the year and added a lot of regulations so you wouldn't hit your target. Got worse and worse
The challengesThey should invest more on people, especially those who have longer tenureship. Management here is very poor!

Apr 2017My experience is great I'll been in the sales invoice team, confirmation of the account recievables in the online banking and be part of the process team that posting the payment to the order.
The good thingsThey has a relaxing atmosphere in the office and the management always has career development program to all the employees. Also they have many events that help the employee to enjoy and relax together with the other co-employees and bosses.
The challengesdifferent co-workers attitude and professionalism they have due to many of the employee's are young/fresh graduate.

Fun workplace & great compensation package
The good thingsWorkplace is very fun. We have many exciting activities & perks in the office such as Everyday Happiness program, Birthday Wheel, Free Coffee and Popcorn, many more. Events are plentiful such as Halloween Party, Team Building, Training Programs, Sportsfest, etc., Cool out of the country prizes during our Christmas Party. There is also additional benefits given year after year. =)

The good thingsThe working environment is so good as well as their employees and in this company, there's a balance in work and your personal life, the people you've met and will meet here are always happy, management is fair and I think they are giving their employees more benefits and perks. Of course, if you're in a constant state of wanderlust, you should work here! Perfect 5 stars for this company.
