Geriatric HealthcareThe good thingsI really enjoyed working with patients and providing care. I especially liked working with elderly patients because they can teach you so much. The elderly have a wealth of lifetime experience. I have found that they like nothing more than sharing those experiences with nurses and other patients. My employer guide me to have a positive thinking, be flexible and always smart to fulfill my worked.
The challengesIt was a challenging and rewarding job because I need to learned more about my patient's illness or disability and about how to be a healthcare provider. I truly understand at an emotional level what it’s like to care for an elder. The decisions you have to make. What you go through. And because of that, I’m better able to guide people through that process. I am advocating for the right care......
