If you are a licensed engineer, this will not be a good training ground for you. The company is good but most of the superiors or the management is quite toxic. Being a field engineer here is not actually and engineer's job.
The good thingsBenefits and allowances JLPT
The challengesDealing with a lot of bosses which is not necessary. Most heads are controlling and unappreciative. The working environment is not professional.

    my experience was so memorable
The good thingsI really enjoying working in THI in reason of the people around us really approachable and very industrious and workaholic also and foremost the safety is always the first priority of the company. And I've been met lots of friendly people that makes my jobs great. Good thing THI is their service was fast and met in advance for the deadline and that is the tsuneishi heavy industries(cebu), incorporation.
The challengesThe challenges that I had been encountered in THI was during my On the Job Trainee when finding the location of the parts of the hull of the ship but as the days goes by it is less difficult to find until I had been familiarize it untl now.

The good things1. may libre silang aral ng welding for 3months with allowance pa. SMAW,FCAW, at iba pang type ng welding. 2. on time yung paghulog ng benefits like SSS. at PHILHEALTH. 3. maganda yung work location completo sa mga machine, heavy equipment, at PPE. 4. on time rin ang pagbigay ng salary at bunos. 5. active ang companya sa sport meron silang sport contest 4 times a year.

    :-)
The good thingsI enjoyed aside from learning, the process in building a ship. It is amazing to witness how a single welder can contribute of the delivery of a ship as big as bulk carriers.
The challengesThey should invest on the centralizing or creating a database. Or maybe using a software that will help create and help minimize bottlenecks by providing correct and updated data.

    good experience
The good thingsI gained new knowledge in the Shipbuilding Industry and I also meet some good friends. I was able to know the basics on how to read write Katakana and Hiragana (Nihongo alphabet). The people that I worked with were very kind and guided me all the way after the training period.
The challengesWhen they asked to work on a Saturday it was a difficult task for me to handle, I requested for a Saturday rest days and swapped it on a Sunday workday because I am Sabbath keeper. Good thing they granted my request even if not all of the Saturdays of the month.
