No work life balance and lack of benefits for technical engineer.
The good thingsHMO benefits since Day 1, On-call allowance, Free take of Professional certificates but with band. Good workmates/people depending on Team. For fresh grad it is good for training ground
The challengesLack of other benefits. No 14 month, No Christmas gift/basket. Xmas party is virtual. Compensation for engineer is not good for me.

Spent most of my working years with this company and i have no plans to leave just yet. Very thankful for the work from home set up as well.

Good things happen to those who wait...
The good thingsYou will learn...when I say learn.. that means a lot.. you’ll get certified to a level you track, and be guided by good mentors in the team. From all my experiences in other companies, Trends has the a different level of compassion to its employees, others may not see it because those who left are mostly 3 to 5 years only in the company
The challengesThe is no perfect company.. schedules are always a go but its something expected from the moment we are brief during cadetship. A bit challenging because the long hours work with customers/clients is draining, but once you get use to it and show your capabilities, its good in a way

    Looks good from the outside
The good thingsIf you are looking for experience and not minding the salary and working conditions and management type it is certainly worth it. Get trainings and certifications (but it has very disproportionate bonds) maybe let it lapse or pay for it when you resign or get next company to pay for it them its ok. Not a place for long term employment.
The challengesExecutives are always Micro Managing. Very stressful, they pretend to be nice but they will show things like they own you. They have Missions and Visions but Management does not even obey them so mainly for show only. Be careful as they are good at first then sometime they would show their true color. Everybody knows this but keeps quiet afraid to lose their jobs. Family owned so they are the only ones who are always right and knowlegeable. Many good people quit even really best ones like from multinationals and country managers. They could not stand them anymore.

Good place to work bad management
The good thingsPeople interaction. This is a great place to learn and grow, always at the edge of technology.
The challengesThe management cost cuts incentives and goes out of their way to bond their engineers. Change is constant almost every quarter there's some new policy that give an employee more reason to leave. No work balance available especially when you are new to the team.
