Good compensation, bread and butter and a great work place.
The good thingsI have many things that I thanked for from being simple clerk up to become a team leader. This company conducts many trainings like forklift operator trainings, first aiders, fire fighters, character buildings, team buildings and many more that truly enhance our knowledge. Most of all a great compensations and benefits that employee needs. They serve as our bread and butter for our families.
The challengesNothing at all but the reason I left there, I want to work for a new environment and I need to found my new challenges that will change my carrier and to have new learnings.

    I LOVE TOPI
The good thingsI learned to be independent when I started working in TOPI as an OJT. The employees are good-natured, they treat you well and when you asked them a questions they will whole heartedly answer you. They give task that you can do and help you whenever there's a problem. Because of this company i build a lot of learnings in excell and how to deal with different people. #BackorderManagement
The challengesThe company is not perfect, but i know through years of success the company will overcome those challenges and imperfections.

    ATTITUDE over SKILLS
The good thingsColleagues are very respectful and fun to be with. It's like being among strangers turning to good friends. They value attitude and good personalities over technical skills. Because they believe, every skill or technique can be learned but a good behavior is a gift.
The challengesI enjoyed the skills I haven't dealt with before. Also, they have patient trainers and they give utmost attention to a trainee's development. Unlike some companies, shouting is cursing is a big NO NO here. Every employee are given and shown warm welcomes and professional respect.

We work the files that they need to submit on time. We code and we encode.
The good thingsI enjoy working at Transition company because they're really friendly and when they know that you are intern. They teach you in a nice way to learn what is the outside field experience it was awesome to be apart of their company even if i'm just an intern student.
The challengesChallenge that I encounter during my internship day when we need to get our quota for our project that assign to us. Its very hard for us as a new intern that we don't really know what they doing but they all their for us to help and guide the intern students.

    Good
The good thingsThe salary is at par with most manufacturing companies and average compared to the rest in my field (IT). The hardware and software used are top notch, the benefits package is adequate and the schedule is somewhat flexible. Depending on your job description, you are allowed to work remotely or adjust your shift. The company sponsors travel and accommodations for business trips.
The challengesThe company was recently bought out by Essilor, which for most is actually a good thing because Essilor is a giant, however there were some lay-offs particularly in the marketing and sales departments of several sites due to redundancy. The acquisition drastically changed the direction of the Shared Services department, and I felt like my skills would be of better use in another company so I left.

    Shared Services Team Leader
The good thingsEmployee are always first. Employee development is first class. Proper logistics again for employees covering those who live from the Calamba to Manila. Food allowance may not be enough for some but it just feels great that its there. First name basis from bottom to top level.
The challengesObjective conflict due to functional team performance, an always present friction but as we all know that is already a norm. I would like to touch on cultural awareness which was really a problem with Filipinos as most of us can easily get offended by foreign visitors. *I want that iPad now please?

    Career Path
The good thingsIt gave opportunities for growth. It gave focus on employees and employees' welfare. I was able to grow and develop myself into a better employee and leader. Training was a required activity, each employee is required to undergo training. The company really spends on each employees.
The challengesThe company is a multinational company and this requires working with other nationalities. The challenge here is that each nationality would have different culture and we have to adapt to each one. I really do not think of this as a challenge but it makes one understand other cultures more.

Transitions Optical Philippines a nice workplace
The good thingsWorking on Transitions Optical is such a good opportunity for me, first compensation and benefits are good, working environment is safe and the facility complies with the standards (Environmental Health and Safety). The management cares for the good of their employees. There's an opportunity for career improvement by providing technical and soft skills training for employees.
The challengesThe company require's a focused and dedicated employees in which the employee may need to extend their effort to achieve the company goals and objectives. Tight schedule on project deliverable's and planning should always be strict.
