I was told that i will be getting my backpay in around 30 days. But i only got it after 6 months.
The good thingsI enjoyed my stay there. Well maintained facilities, friendly people
The challengesThe Salary was too low and the back pay was too slow.

    Poor candidate and interview experience.
The good thingsI WAS really looking forward to working with this company. I hope that not all of your recruiters are like the one who handled my application.
The challengesThe interview felt more like an interrogation than a formal interview. The interviewer (recruiter) keeps making faces when the response is not satisfying for her, and the Q&A is subjective and assuming. I can't even remember if she applied the STAR method properly or even used it during our interview.

    Capital Markets Experience
The good thingsYou learn a lot about the capital markets, great colleagues that are willing to mentor, and you'll be exposed to various projects that will diversify your skills. You'll be offered various perks (i.e. HMO, Gym, Trainings, Stock Purchase Plans) which are great.
The challengesYou'll still do meetings online while reporting on-site due to geographical location of some team members.

Overall a great experience working in the Exchange. Learned lots of important values and skills there.
The good thingsExcellent facilities. People working at the Exchange are nice. Lots of engagements and you can definitely enjoy Work-Life balance. Generous in terms of performance bonus.
The challengesWorkload can be overwhelming specially due to several projects initiated by the Exchange's management. Management can sometimes be indecisive. Hard to get promoted even if you're performing excellently and even endorsed by your manager.

    Assistant Department Head

7 to 8 years in the role, current employee
    Working with prestige and distinction
The good thingsThe culture is conducive for a healthy work environment. People are competent and professional. It's a small company in terms of number of employees. You get to meet and know everyone.
The challengesHaving a lean company structure also has its challenges. There are times when people are really stretched. The company will be better off if they expand departments that need more manpower. Also it would be better for the company and the employees if they come up with a career progression program or succession planning for management positions.

    Always exciting and fun.
The good thingsThe people around you every day, the challenges and excitement about your daily trades. The fun of learning with people who are better and smarter than you. Watching your portfolio grow. Learning new skill on how to improve your trading results.
The challengesWhen market is bearish, the biggest challenge is on how to constract a portfolio that that can withstand the downside of the market. On how to find outlier stocks, to have lesser risk and higher reward. How constantly beat the market and grow your portfolio.
