    Career Growth vs Benefits
The good things- flexibility on the skills. - career growth - mainly for developers. Others I know got an internal opportunity abroad, others became Team Leads at a very young age. - results oriented.
The challenges- Benefits. No allowances provided. HMO especially for single employees. - Career Growth for Back Office positions, end point. - Performance Bonus and Increase is not mainly based on performance.

Working is a continuous learning in Gemalto.
The good thingsI enjoy the flexibility and variation of projects in this company. I get to learn a lot, in terms of coding and validation, which helps my growth and progression as a software engineer. Codes are created in compliance with the standards used worldwide. Cultural diversity is highly promoted, thus, employees get to interact with the counterparts abroad which helps to boost ones' confidence in communication. The environment is fun and comfortable, making work light and easier.
The challengesThe location of the company is in the middle of Makati, a business district in PH. This means, as one of the consequences of being a business district, area is concentrated with people and vehicles, making transportation difficult especially during rush hours.

Good company to work for :)
The good thingsFlexible on time-in time-out. Most people start working around 9:30/10AM but working time depends on supervisor’s approval. Young work culture. There are plenty enough opportunites to get recognized and be promoted if you have what it takes :)
The challengesBenefits (aside from salary) still have a lot of room to improve.

    The good and the bad
The good thingsThe environment is good. Colleagues were very helpful especially when you are just learning the technology. The managers are approachable and easy to talk to. For fresh grads, salary is competitive.
The challengesTelco business is not the great thus bonus and base salary is affected for so many years now. Benefits are not that great.

    Good company but not better
The good things-working environment -management have ears on it's employees -flexible time -opportunity to go outside the country
The challenges-career path takes quite long especially for member to senior where in other companies can promote employees at a faster rate. -salary is below average, compared to other employees working on the IT industry with the same skillset of the same position. -health insurance is not the top provider, although depending on the budget of the company. -can not work from home to perform development tasks. -no overtime pay (can be compensated if they offer higher basic salary like other companies do)

    Great but ....
The good thingsLocal management have support on members decision-making. Flexible office hours as long as you do your work well. Ability to shift work/career if there is an opportunity inside. Objective-based performance review.
The challengesPromotion can be quite tough for major jump of the career ladder. Individuals working here should have a sense of urgency as this typical challenge is always present. Health insurance can be quite challenging also :).
