    Working in this prestigious company with a family-like environment and room for continuous improvement makes it easier for us to go thru rough and demanding day.
    The good thingsI enjoyed mostly the team that I am working with. The team is very open in helping each other, bringing out the best in each member. Also, our teamleaders are open to our suggestions, they trust us and may us feel our importance in the organization.

    The good thingsThe workplace is nice. The environment is suited for working. The employer knows how to take care of its employees. It was never hard for us to voice out suggestions and most especially we are always allowed to tell how we feel about some problems that occur from time to time.
    The challengesEverything about the company is not just fine but great! The only thing that's challenging on the part of the employees is the salary. The salary was not as big as the other company. It will take years for a single employee to have a raise. And they could give a raise as low as P500.00. Other thank that, none anymore.

    The good thingsThe Chairman & CEO of the Sterling Paper is passionate about his work and he is a visionary. His business includes paper, real estate, call center and he diversified into agriculture where he hope someday the country will become rice self-sufficient. The company breeds hybrid rice which could yield 2 to 3 times more than the inbred/traditional rice variety.
    The challengesWorking for a company that is run by a family is more challenging and stressful if you are reporting directly to them than I was with a technology company before which is managed by working professionals.

    The good thingsMy mentors were great specially my manager, supervisors I learn a lot from them including the different HR functions such as compensation and benefits, HRIS, HROD, payroll and recruitment. In addition working in this company is super great. I enjoy the culture and the friendship even now that I'm not connected with Expressions but still gather for a mini reunion to have updates on each other.
