    Home for Growth!
The good thingsI was a student assistant in my five (5) years of tertiary education. I was assigned to work in the college library and registrars office. I handled administrative and clerical jobs in both offices. I was given the opportunity of independence as I accomplish my work with minimal to no supervision. My evaluator aka my boss was trusted my skills and talent to accomplish my job.
The challengesI am a student and I have the responsibility to accomplish very well my academic requirements in college and at the same time do my obligation as a student assistant working part-time in the institution. With smart management of my time and planning ahead, I was able to perform both of my roles.

    New Environment
The good thingsWork-life balance Less stressed environment Most of the employees here are accommodating and friendly Supervisors are kind and understanding Personal favorite is yearly retreats and seasonal recollections
The challengesLike in any other company, there are some people who are a bit intimidating and doesn't welcome new ideas. Less formal (or corporate, for that matter), but I understand that they are more like a community here, so most people communicate on a personal level. A bit flexible (in terms of policy), but now, they are starting to adhere to their policies.

    Working at my Alma Mater
The good thingsBeing in a Catholic institution such as St. Scholastica's College was a great privilege. This school has helped me to become of who I am now - stronger and smarter; enthusiastic and eager to learn more; and ready to face new challenges in life. Theories learned will just be useless without the experiences I had during my stay. They have helped me in so many ways that I am thankful for until now.
The challengesLike any other institution, there will always be some individuals who think that they are always better than the newbies and forgetting that new ideas could also be welcomed and entertained. There will be some people who should have boosted your morale rather than making them lose their confidence.
