A Good Start to my CareerThe good thingsIt was the environment of endlessly learning, and the absence of typical corporate bells and whistles you'll find on a regular job. But, despite the absence of the uniforms, time-ins, and flag ceremonies the work ethic my superiors have is commendable, and we got things done and we were making huge progress in creating technology for good.
The challengesOur agile nature was a strength and a flaw. In my time here, we really didn't have a singular focus. We didn't focus on what technologies to master nor had products we chose to fully develop and put our precious resources into. So, what ended up happening is we kept chasing what was the "best" course of action at the time until the entire company couldn't keep up anymore.
