Stressful, Political ProblemsThe good thingsGood company, lots of IT knowledgeable peers, lots of experience on how to troubleshoot software. You will be presented with the opportunity to solve and patch software bugs, and it is a great experience to actually be able to successfully troubleshoot them.
The challengesThey have poor management. They are very closed minded regarding their software, except for a few luckier teams who have more \"political power\" in the company. There are existing political problems that are going to make your job difficult for you to do. At first, you'd just think \"Nice! I will work here for experience\" but in reality you'll be more stressed than you think because the \"boss\" problems will eventually come to you and you'd always think maybe some other job would have less of these \"boss\" problems. And to be honest, there are better people to work for out there.
