Management doesn’t care about employees and makes up stories to remove people during budget issues.
The good thingsNone . Based on my experience
The challengesThis is the worst team I got into. I was warned by another team to leave, but unfortunately I didn’t listen. The leads are biased, and some higher-level members have bad attitudes. Even clients have issues with them due to project delays, and junior members often get blamed.

    Terrible management but great people
The good thingsThe people are nice and friendly. We got along well especially with the people on my first project.
The challengesIt was pretty stressful since I mostly have to work overtime. It eats up my me time. And whenever I try to file for a vacation leave, they sometimes make you feel like you are being irresponsible for not working as much as your other teammates because your taking a vacation. There's too much pressure and no growth for employees. Unless you are part of the core development, there is almost no room for growth for you. You'll be stuck doing bug fixes and COR.

    Stressful, Political Problems
The good thingsGood company, lots of IT knowledgeable peers, lots of experience on how to troubleshoot software. You will be presented with the opportunity to solve and patch software bugs, and it is a great experience to actually be able to successfully troubleshoot them.
The challengesThey have poor management. They are very closed minded regarding their software, except for a few luckier teams who have more \"political power\" in the company. There are existing political problems that are going to make your job difficult for you to do. At first, you'd just think \"Nice! I will work here for experience\" but in reality you'll be more stressed than you think because the \"boss\" problems will eventually come to you and you'd always think maybe some other job would have less of these \"boss\" problems. And to be honest, there are better people to work for out there.

Stressful work, low pay, but opportunity for career development
The good thingsYou'll have a chance to experience different work roles during your stint in the company; hence, opportunity to grow your career experience.
The challengesLike in any IT companies, expect some shifting schedules and overtimes to meet project deadlines.
