    Under construction and exploration leading to development. Pretty stressful and have to deal with the local community's concerns and needs to conduct IEC to counter act negatice perception of mining activities.

    SMMCI Experience
    The good thingsFree food and accommodation plus home leave of 9 days after 28 days working on site. Service vehicle is also provided, laundry is done on a daily basis. Sunday off on a weekly basis. Location is very accessible 24/7 by private car or public utility bus. Relatively peaceful with the presence of nearby infantry battalion stationed near our minesite not to mention the proximity of the police station
    The challengesExploration cost if staggering undertaken during the time of the former project director. Cost wise-this is phenomenal as compared to other means of achieving the target if done through direct contracts with penal clause.
