A great place for professional training and growthThe good thingsOne of the greatest assets that this company has is the positive work atmosphere. The company is relatively small as it only has two buildings and houses a few hundred shifting employees. This small population encourages the employees to interact and befriend people from all of the sections and departments. The superiors and old employees are also very helpful to new members of the company; wherein, they make sure that everyone feels at home and accepted. Another good thing is their value for inquisitiveness and lifelong learning as shown in how they handled their trainees. They make sure to have a head supervisor for each trainee and that supervisor will continuously give advice and teach new skills in order for a trainee to improve himself. They give great importance for the values of respect, courage, willingness, leadership, and teamwork. I have learned a lot from being in this company and even if my on the job training was only for a few months I was able to make new friends and acquaintances.
The challengesOne of the challenges in working for this company is that you need to have the courage and willingness to approach your superiors if you desire to learn more skills. They are very willing to teach you more, but what they desire is for you to have the strength to approach them on your own. This kind of work atmosphere will be difficult for newly hired employees that have shy temperaments or afraid to cross boundaries with superiors. It is true that your superiors will always have a keen eye on you. They will be observing your every move every time you work, but they are easy to approach for guidance as long as you are courageous enough to leave your comfort zone.
