    The good thingsEnsure Long Partnership with the workers, We don't have organize labor union. Peace and productivity is enjoyed by all partners in the company. The company is not only working for its self but also for the good of all stakeholders, the environment we live, our contribution to the global condition is being address to the various activity being implemented.
    The challengesThe fast face in the technology tends us to always catch up on how we can synchronize our production system to cop up with the demand of competition. Addressing the problem of obsolescence in the parts being use and the sustainability of our present equipment is a great challenge for us. Standardization also of all our present system pays a great role, as engineers come and go. We need to established a system that ensure education and training are properly done and work standardization is being carried out.

    Typical Semiconductor Company. Shifting, Stress-Tired-Mentally Draining Environment.
    The good thingsLess Supervision by managers. Can work freely inside the production area without worrying much of your work, unlike if a manager is at your back monitoring every move you are doing. Foreign counterpart are very kind, accommodating, very friendly and appreciative to the service that you provided to them. Position Title is encouraging & motivating.
    The challengesNo prior training individually. It's like you are fielding a soldier inside the war zone without proper weapons and intel. Output based Performance without considering if standards are still being observed. Factors such as \"Intangibles\" are not recognized. Shifting Sleep deprived Feeling tired everyshift Dust Control inside the production area should be improved.

    The good thingsGood training ground for my career, Friendly workmates, The location of the company is quite near to my home for about 30-45 mins travel time. The benefits for the employees are good. Career advancement and development.
    The challengesI've developed my knowledge and skills on production machine maintenance and troubleshooting. Continuous research and development on different aspects such as process flow improvement, machine kaizen, etc.

    The good thingsThe company shall entrust you to do managerial functions in 2 or 3 areas depending on your abilities. Good trainings and attractive benefits. There is opportunity of career growth and promotion from Staff to Team Leader to Assistant Supervisor to Supervisor for honest and good performing employees. The company will also equip you with high end equipment you need to do your best.
    The challengesThe company does not give the title of Manager to Filipinos during my employment. The management started to give title of Assistant Manager (AM) to Filipinos, mostly external hires. Had difficulty dealing with one pioneer employee who never got promoted due to her poor performance.

    The good thingsROHM...THEY LEVEL UP MORALE OF THEIR EMPLOYEES. THEY PROVIDED MORE TRAININGS, SEMINARS. THE FACILITIES ARE BIG AND VERY NICE. I WOULD NOT FORGET THIS COMPANY WHO MOLDS ME FROM THE VERY START OF MY CAREER, WHEN I WAS 18, THE EXPERIENCES AND KNOWLEDGED I HAD GAINED ESPECIALLY I LEARNED THE JAPANESE LANGUAGE AND CULTURES.
    The challengesDEALING WITH DIFFERENT NATIONALITIES BECAUSE ROHM HAS MANY VISITORS COMING FROM DIFFERENT COUNTRIES. THOUGH IT WAS DIFFICULT BUT I FOUND IT VERY CHALLENGING AND I ENJOYED IT A LOT. EMPLOYEES IS MULTI SKILLED. I'M DOING THE OFFICE JOB INSIDE AND AT THE SAME TIME I'M ALSO ATTENDING THE VISITORS OUTSIDE BUT I ENJOYED DOING ALL THIS JOB.
