Started great but not as of the moment.
The good thingsWhen I started, there were many great things the company has provided. Accommodation, free meals, transportation to the site, free medical and hospitalization, great facilities for recreational activities. The work itself was also good as all personnel treat each other like brothers where everybody can learn.
The challengesAs the years went on, the management implemented various changes. These changes have been felt on the lowest level of the organization. 1. They are focused on reducing manpower to reduce their expenses. Everytime someone resigns or retires, they do not hire a replacement, they pass the responsibility to the ones left in the office without proper compensation. 2. Some managers don't act like professionals. They promote only those who are "malakas" to them and give a hard time to those who are not. Even reporting to work wearing slippers. 3. The management strictly implements their cost-cutting initiative and demands high productivity.

    Responsible mining at its best
The good thingsThe community is very warm and welcoming. Tasks and jobs are well-thought out. The different top management is hospitable and seems to show a very detailed knowledge of what they do. We were exposed to the different divisions as well as the scope of the mining operations.
The challengesThe biggest challenge would be its location. It's too far from the city center, Puerto Princesa. Yes, I think it is the only challenge because everything is already provided by the company and the community.

    Responsible Mining Industry
The good thingsI have learned a lot of experience related to my profession and I have extensively exposed how responsible this company in terms of environmental significance, safety and health concerned and other compliance with legal requirements. No wonder the company is ISO certified and still complied with any other legal requirements. The most amazing part of this is their fully support for more than 20 Barangays and other Indigenous People living nearby the working site. I do not see any wrong doing parts in this company. I just see the greatest concern from them to the people who are in need of livelihood especially those who cannot afford to travel out of their Barangay. Those IPs who the company is still supporting the community and it continuously grows for the benefit of the both sides. I am grateful that I am one of those employees who worked in this company. Support for the Responsible Mining.
The challengesGive the employee a definite Job Description in order to have a systematic environment on management side and to the employee too. Also, there might be a bit need to polish in the Admin side to handle the employees relatively to those who are in need of training and especially the concerned individual of the company. There might be a bit need consideration those who are already worked in the company for than 30 years. That all are just minor but overall I have experienced great from them. Nothing major concerned.
