They have a good way of developing new engineers
The good thingsthey have a good plan for developing new engineers. Learning and development is one of their priority in all employees they have. They send their employee to training and seminars. They also follow what does an employee wants in their career in terms of individual development plan. Really nice and friendly employee. They are warm in welcoming new employees. Head office and plants were very accommodating. They value safety than income. They are very eager to make the employee safe. They care about environment (which is good and right in a way) they value the new and fresh ideas from young engineers
The challengesbe more objective in making promotions and evaluation :D

    My Lafarge experience
The good thingsThere are always areas for improvement. Everybody is very professional and approachable. I learn everyday and the environment is very comfortable. We have field exposure that gave me opportunity to meet different people with different backgrounds and levels. Opportunity wise, Lafarge had it all. The company allows its employees to grow professionally and personally as it promotes work-life balance
The challengesSometimes, you have to be independent and do wise decisions without consulting anyone since everybody is busy and focused with their respective work. There were times that you have to deliver in a very short notice given little time for preparation. You have to finish work before deadline and meet everybody's expectations towards your output which sometimes leaves you to work under pressure.

    My LCSPI Experience
The good thingsThe benefits being offered by LCSPI was definitely competitive. Also, I did learn a lot of things from my former boss and colleagues. With LCSPI, there's definitely a room to hone your skills and speed up your career growth.
The challengesLack of man power. I needed to go on overtime to ensure completion of all the tasks assigned to me.

    Great Company
The good thingsIt has been a great place to work. The company values their employees by providing them technical and personality development training. Benefits for employees are also well-thought of. In terms of work environment, daily challenges varied but shall leave employees satisfied at the end of the day. I have grown a lot working there which brought me where I am now today.
The challengesWork and life balance is a bit off. This is due to the volume of work but the pressure is mainly coming from myself and not from anyone else. Another challenge is its organizational chart. Moving-up is very limited.
