if you are on bench they will just only give you 1 project for the remaining 3 months of your bench and if you did not pass the interview that's it they will just throw you like a trash even if you have a great portfolio

I loved working for RCG in Manila and in Texas!
The good thingsI was hired in advance, in preparation for RCGs new account in Texas. I did wait for a couple of weeks and just spent my time training (which they refer to as Bench) I am thankful for the HR Team here and Management in RCG. I am now living here in TX.
The challengesTo be honest, I did not see anything that I didn't like during that time. I am grateful for the opportunity that was given to me. :)

    Terrible Cross-Border Management
The good thingsRemote Work, Bonuses, and Fun Colleagues—Except for the Counterpart Management.
The challengesLack of Clear Communication, Inefficient Decision-Making and Resource and Task Misallocation. Leadership Challenges Affecting Workflow Efficiency and Team Consistency.

alright to start a career here but will lack the opportunity to continuously grow. Job security is not that secured.
The good thingsQuarterly Bonus, good for entry level but once you got a grasp of the work flow there will never be a new opportunity to grow
The challengesThey prioritize meeting participation rather than delivery of the committed items. The meeting consumes half of the working hours and team already burned out by the end of the long meeting. Management acts they care but they will still take side with the client even if the client pushes a conflict of interest with other vendor. They take your leave when you are on Holiday. Poor HR responses. Trainings in Udemy was alright but now they just replace with some Youtube videos you can access anytime. You can be promoted to a new role but still pay you the same salary as before. They will hire new resource but eventually face a layoffs. Lastly they are rebuilding the organization structure and they change some policy without informing the employees of the change.

    Terrible Clientelle and Management
The good thingsOn-time salary and nothing else but that. Always expect to be paid earlier or on-time.
The challengesEverything else. The higher the employee's position the more they don't know of the basics. They don't observe Agile here just to keep their clients because of the low quality of their rushed products. Bigwigs decide on the timeline without the consent of those who will do the job. A shift will be mostly spent on meetings than actually doing a task. Most employees are either demoralized or downright lazy.

Very good company, one of the best in the IT industry
The good thingsThere are a lot of benefits: HMO, Bonus, Salary increases, Timebanks to name a few. I also belong to a very good team handling a US-based project. People I work with help each other, and that includes PM and Lead Developer. Work from home is also implemented, and we just hope and pray it stays permanent (or a mixed setup: 2 days office, 3 days WFH, or the like).
The challengesNight shift -- but one can just adapt to it, like I did. I do not even think NS counts in this category, but it is the closest to being a challenge working in this company

    Wrong Career Move Here
The good thingsThere is nothing good from this company. Very misleading reviews and recruitment.
The challengesEverything. No trainings, no work-life balance, and strongly polluted with politics. They're the company that doesn't have its own ideas nor can even realize the ideas they steal.

The good thingsDepends on a project you will be assign with. Night diff is only good thing here the rest is nothing even more
The challengesI won't recommend this company for fresh grads and Manual testers. Babaratin ka lang nila like what happened to me 2 years ago.

Small Company But With Big Clients
The good thingsThe company provides very competitive salary and acceptable allowances. So far, I am grateful to have a very supportive manager which is very important which is one of the reasons why I've stayed for this long. Our work is very challenging and stressful, as with other jobs, but it's really up to me how to handle it. RCG may be small in terms of headcount (less than 800, i think) but it is considered as a worthy competitor of much bigger companies in the IT industry. Very low attrition compared to industry benchmark.
The challengesBenefits could be more competitive and as an IT company, it is expected that equipment (laptop, desktop/PC) are high-end and new. I also don't like the politics... but what company doesn't have politics?

High salary, but not the "human" company you're looking for
The good thingsA high salary and night differential rate, fixed quarterly bonuses, and opportunity to enroll to several udemy courses for free. Also, paid movie night/s within a year.
The challengesThe management always do take care of their "clients" but not their employees. They follow a client-first approach and doesn't consider your human-side, you're just a literal resource to them. They always take the side of the clients and will always tell you that the team should always adjust to them, even if the clients are the ones that really needs to do adjusting. - Strict time-based productivity - Poor work environment, the machines and equipments are so literally old (those big clunky PCs), one you wouldn't really expect from a multinational IT company. - Holidays are charged to your Leave Credits - Usually includes an employment bond - HR is not responsive to your needs and requests

Competitive gross pay, challenge on work-life balance
The good things-Generous pay, incentives and additional monetary benefits (depending on account). -Recognition and rewards for acquiring in demand skills. -Better chance here of internal promotion for lead positions rather than hiring external staff. -Effort in the annual events / team building activities.
The challenges-Management would often discourage using leave credits for time offs and will often sell the idea of offsetting work which meant another set of back and forth approval to pursue. -Work from home readiness is very low even if this item has always been a consistent and highlighted proposal in company wide meetings. Implementation still caused major work delays that had a not-so-good domino effect. Hoping situation is better now.

Level of stress depends on the project you were assigned to
The good thingsLife is simple here
The challengesThe lack of career development because people are already paid well. Salaries are higher compared to other IT Companies so it's one way of compensating you. Taking up trainings or training schedules doesn't have separate charging and should be on tap of your working hours.

RCG is a good company to work for.
The good thingsGenerally demographics of workforce is young. Management provides opportunities for training and development. Employees are given the opportunity to provide feedback to management. There are company outings, movie nights, other social activities and outreach programs.
The challengesMajority of work is night shift. Project rotation takes a long time and people generally stays in a project for a long time.
