Do you really want to work here??
The good thingsThe Culture was pretty good very inviting work space on first impression.
The challengesMy 10 months there I had never felt more useless in a position in my working life. Training was off-loaded in videos, no proper one on one and when it was it very poor. Lots of empty promises and promises bonuses that I never saw. Poor team management and structure, I never had a set roll. I was the “Everything guy”. The last few months I was there I was given busy unimportant work till a few settlements were done and then half of the Team was let go due to budget reasons. Empty promises and training off loaded is what you are install for (Depending on the agent). A lot of talking behind people’s backs as well, everyone seemed out for themselves to a degree no matter if you are apart of a team.

Great if you have no experience and want to learn - slightly 'cult like' office culture
The good thingsThe other Canungra staff members were great people, overall the rest of the staff were happy, friendly people.
The challengesNew ownership where the owner and upper management had no grasp on the difference between a GC office and a rural/semi rural area. Focus was purely on making money and not around community, actual logistics and understanding the area.

The challengesRay White Accounting Solutions was the worst work experience I have encountered. The environment was toxic, plagued by excessive gossip among co-workers and an unsustainable workload

Soul-crushing working experience, not worth the stress.
The good thingsMet some lovely people that I will continue to be friends with.
The challengesTerrible management. No one to turn to when you have a problem at work. The senior PM has a serious personality disorder. Admin staff are treated like second class citizens and paid like they are. If you’re a PM you will be treated better but probably not paid better. No salary or performance reviews. Overall a mostly stressful experience.

Stressful workplace with no respect for junior employees & their focus on mistakes over development.
The good thingsTo be honest nothing I have enjoyed about.
The challenges • Provide better training and mentoring for new employees • Improve communication and professionalism across the team • Foster a more supportive and respectful workplace culture • Encourage development, not just fault-finding

    Eventful and dramatised
The good thingsThe positives were the former principal who managed a rental department before he sold the property.
The challengesThe main solo principle who favours employees and is completely unaware of the rental department’s operations creates a toxic environment.

The diversity and the ever-changing environment. It is a workplace where I have never felt bored.
The good thingsWe have a genuinely supportive environment and team. From entry-level staff to the MD / Chairman, everyone cares for one another. This likely stems from being a family-owned business, as the White family treats staff like their own. This culture makes my work life much more enjoyable. Additionally, management is always willing to listen to staff feedback and take action to continuously improve our corporate culture.
The challengesProviding equal opportunities for back-office support staff remains a challenge, as we focus on the development of agency support staff.

A major disappointment. Avoid at all costs if you have previously worked in a professional environment.
The good thingsAdministration office manager was highly competent and pleasant to deal with. The office is located in an ideal location.
The challengesManagement lacks leadership, professionalism and knowledge. No emphasis is placed on the training of staff members, which contributes to the unbelievably high staff turnover rate. Team meetings are pointless endeavours that expose management’s incompetence and genuinely need to be seen to be believed.

Great People, Demanding Field Work in Tough Weather.
The good thingsThe company and all team members are great — very supportive people who make the work environment positive and encouraging.
The challengesAs a Sales Associate, my main responsibility was door knocking to generate leads. While I was able to secure a listing within my first 1.5 months, the weather conditions made this task particularly challenging and physically demanding.

Lack of empathy and poor management overshadowed what could have been a great opportunity.
The good thingsWhile my time was limited, I appreciated the opportunity to work in a new region and gain insight into the agency's structure and processes.
The challengesI relocated my family for this role on the Central Coast and faced unexpected car troubles shortly after starting. I transparently communicated the issue and requested a short period to resolve it. Despite this, I was let go and told “it’s business, not personal.” I found the decision and the lack of support during a difficult time disappointing and unprofessional.

The good thingsClocking off at 5pm and going home to my family. To add to the positives I no longer work here!
The challengesMicromanaging is a big thing here. Gaslighting thrives here, toxic team members looking to devour the weak. Lots of gossip and drama within the team. Low paying pm role. Use your own car but in Xmas or public holidays the allowance is not paid. Once you resign you are told to leave immediately.

As an Assistant Property Manager at Ray White Commercial, I gained hands-on experience managing property portfolios, handling tenant relations, and overseeing day-to-day operations, while developing strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
The good thingsDuring my time as an Assistant Property Manager at Ray White Commercial, I gained invaluable hands-on experience in managing property portfolios, handling tenant relationships, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of commercial properties.
The challengesWhile I learned a lot in my role as Assistant Property Manager, I realized that the opportunities for career advancement were somewhat limited. I value positions where I can continue to develop professionally, take on more responsibility, and grow within the company

Good (but exploitative) for young cadets, horrible for established agents.
The good thingsVery good training - as an agent starting out their expectations are very high, and have good tracking technology to monitor performance. Can obtain a good level of baseline skills to work in Real Estate with their programs and systems.
The challengesCulture. Vendor management is an effort to get stock in and stock out. It's a volume game. Internal office culture horrendous, sales leadership petty, condescending and disrespectful to performing agents. Commission splits and employment agreements are awful.

Dream company that fosters leadership, ambition and curiosity
The good thingsI've been lucky enough to call Ray White my work home since 2008. During that time, I've had positive experiences in a variety of roles, both within the franchised network, and corporately. Despite being over 120 years old, it still feels like a young, innovative company that encourages curiosity, provides the flexibility to voice and act on ideas, and supports ambitious individuals. It's also a 4th generation family business, which you don't really get a sense of until you're part of it. Ray White offers incredible growth opportunities to anyone willing to put in the hard yards, and we are market leaders because we've been able to attract the best people. I've been learning from some of the brightest minds in the industry since I was 14, and have never felt the need to look elsewhere - it's an amazing company and one I could see myself with forever.
The challengesI've been at times challenged by managing a healthy work/life balance, but the long hours have never been forced upon me, and have come from my own work ethic and drive to succeed. Hard work does pay off, and I do feel that I've been recognised and rewarded for going above & beyond.

I am proud to be part of the Ray White family.
The good thingsThe strength of the leadership and the opportunities to pursue new initiatives are what really stand out to me. The leaders are very passionate about this company, which I'd say is largely down to that fact that it is still a family owned business after all this time. It's also a really dynamic environment where things are constantly evolving which keeps things exciting. We have some amazing 'traditions' like curiosity day where everyone is invited to share an idea, this really helps to make everyone feel like they matter and have a voice when it comes to the direction of the company.
The challengesThere is work to be done on diversity, inclusion and perks. I can see us making slow progress, but the company is falling behind their peers.

I am privileged to work for the Ray White group under strong leadership, where growth and development are prioritised, every individual is empowered to have a voice and the work environment fosters a culture of curiosity, inspiring continuous personal and professional growth.
The good thingsI've been working for Ray White since 2016 in various roles and the opportunities are endless. It is wonderful to work with people who support and nurture your ambition and provide an environment of curiosity and growth.
The challengesSometimes you are invited to be part of a project or task that doesn't necessarily form part of your role. While challenging it is always a wonderful opportunity where you are embraced by leadership and your peers to take the challenge on.

    Brilliant people, pay and opportunities
The good thingsThis is truly the best job I've ever had and I am no stranger to bad employers so I'm not easily impressed. Some of the key pros: - Strong, inclusive culture - Good work-life balance - L&D opportunities particularly for high-achievers and people managers - Increasing focus on widespread internal recognition - Effort and talent is encouraged to flourish - Very competitive salary
The challengesNone especially - most of the reviews on this profile appear to be for franchises rather than the Ray White Corporate teams so are slightly misleading. The few areas for growth as an employer are taken seriously by management and steps are being made to improve these so I wouldn't count them as "cons".

It is really like being part of a family.
The good thingsI have made friends and connections for life working here. The company also gives you an opportunity to make your role your own and move around into areas that interest you. It also was amazing to me how involved the White Family themselves are. No matter how big the company gets, the family always takes the time to really get to know every one.
The challengesYour experience / progression will depend on the style of your individual managers.

In my time with the Ray White Corporate team I have been presented with autonomy, the ability to be creative and innovative and immense opportunity.
The good thingsRay White is a fourth generation family owned company. That's not just a headline, it's a reality that Ray White corporate staff and members benefit from. The White family are accessible to us, involved in day to day running of the business and available for leadership and guidance. The culture in the corporate team is ambitious, curious, hard working and highly engaged. Pretty much everyone is delighted to be part of the team and feels very proud to be working for the company.
The challengesFor me personally, being in a national role, I need to physically be in all parts of Australia from time to time. While I enjoy this, travel at this rate isn't for everyone. Our company structure is quite 'flat' meaning we don't have a long ladder to the top. Sometimes we are required to roll up our sleeves and help with roles that might not necessarily form part of our core function, but that's part of our hard work culture.

An amazing place to grow your career
The good thingsRay White is passionate about the growth of their people, you are rewarded for being curious and ambitious which are values from the Family. I've been really lucky with the growth here, starting in an entry level role in events to now running our admin team in Queensland, as well as many roles in between. Working in a business that works on strategy and invests in people makes it easy to stay.
The challengesWorking with ambitious people means you need to have high energy and want to perform at your best.
