A great working experience both positive & negative sense.
The good thingsSalary is on par/slightly higher than other auditing firm and the benefits (monetary) itself speaks well for the company itself.
The challengesI will not talked about the whole organization but rather on my previous department (PCG). I think the management should look into it and see what management style is applicable because currently, it is more of micromanagement that tends to demotivate employees.

I wouldn't expect to be here!
The good thingsI had been working in province as a private accountant and wouldn't expect to get hired that fast with one of the leading audit firms in the Philippines!
The challengesDon't apply during the busy season 'coz you'll get a load of work! Sheesh!

My worst experience is here. So disappointed and wouldn't want any of my friends near here!
The good thingsSome good managers (you're lucky if you have one in your multiple engagements), competitive Salary (but not enough for the health you'll be risking)
The challengesNo work-life balance, no such thing as time management (as the workload is IMPOSSIBLE), management tells you they hear you (all of staff complaints and concerns, but really they DON'T), Everything else. Audit in Charge takes almost all of the responsibilities. Workload is impossible (I'm used to stress as i have been working for quite sometime and have been in public practice for more than 3yrs before joining the firm) but gosh the workload is impossible and AIC is given staff for only 2 weeks (2weeks for the whole duration of the engagement!!) So if your client will provide PBCs after the schedule of the staff, sorry AIC you will do the audit as a one-man (not to mention that you're handling multiple clients, 9-15clients during busy season), as I say, IMPOSSIBLE. May mention also that you'll be having multiple bosses ughhh.

It is pretty good overall. I do think this is the best firm when it comes to Tax experience.
The good thingsThe environment in the company is good. The leaders specially the partners show that they care for their employees. Gaining experience is also a plus here.
The challengesA little better compensation and rewards/awards will make things better. Also, some top management has favorites when it comes to divisions usually which shows with bonuses even though the different divisions' outputs/results are very close.

No regrets for my first job, open working environment
The good thingsAs an auditing firm, you would typically expect a toxic environment, especially during busy season. In P&A, the people experience is what makes the workloads easier. You could approach anyone, including the partners and managers, whenever you want to talk about something. The events also are the best! Annual outings, christmas parties and trainings are the BOMB. 10/10 experience, free busy season meals!
The challengesThe clients. The work distribution is also very random, and most of the engagements, especially if you dont handle a large account, is only allotted to you for like 1-2 weeks only, then another engagement would be assigned to you.

THE BEST WORKING ENVIRONMENT AMONG COMPANIES IN THE INDUSTRY
The good thingsI really love working with P&A. The people are really approachable and you will feel family vibe. You will also learn a lot from the people, from the clients and from the experience. Also, the salary is high as compared to other companies in the same line of business.
The challengesThere are times that you will feel there is lack in manpower to do the job done but I will assure you that you can make it without you knowing it while learning a lot from the experience.

Experience is one of a kind. Lots of learnings.
The good thingsThe culture insdie the firm is very lovable. You will never feel the usual corporate seniority since all employees can easily be approached regardless of position. They also make sure that work-life balance is upheld by letting the employees engage in different activities that are not related to work. Plus, the salary is competitive, bit higher than other audit firms.
The challengesNot much. Probably the work load but it's already expected in a auditing firm.

    My Audit Experience
The good thingsThe working environment was good. You cannot feel a barrier between a junior associate and a senior associate. The salary is quite high specially for someone working an entry level like me. I am glad that I was able to work in this firm.
The challengesThere are not that much opportunities for the audit associates who were hired for a contractual basis. The performance of the contractual associates were not considered as none of the high performing contractual associates were transferred to a probationary status under the audit division. Although there were offers to be transferred to the outsourcing division of the firm, but for those who wanted to pursue a career in the audit division, it was not a good thing. During the busy season, one cannot avoid to work overtime just to get things done. It was quite difficult to manage at first, but most people got through those little sleep to sleepless nights of work.
