Bonifacio Global City Taguig City Metro Manila1 to 2 years in the role, former employee
Finance Specialist in accounts payable, compliance, and multi-country financial operations.
The good thingsWhat I enjoyed most in my role at Procter & Gamble Philippines was working in a fast-paced finance environment where I could contribute to accurate and efficient financial operations. I found it fulfilling to handle high-volume invoice processing and ensure compliance, knowing my work directly impacted financial reporting. I also enjoyed collaborating with cross-functional and regional teams, especially during the transition of billing operations across multiple countries, which allowed me to contribute to process improvements and expand my experience. Overall, I valued the combination of technical work, teamwork, and continuous learning, which helped me grow professionally.
The challengesOne of the main challenges in my role at Procter & Gamble Philippines was managing high-volume invoice processing across multiple markets with different requirements and tight deadlines. This required strong coordination and attention to detail to maintain accuracy and compliance. To address this, I focused on improving organization, prioritization, and communication with stakeholders. In terms of improvement, I believe further process standardization and automation could enhance efficiency, reduce manual work, and strengthen controls. Overall, this experience helped me develop stronger problem-solving and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Competitive Environment but Great Company to Work for
The good thingsP&G is a great company to work with and ensures to keep you motivated by prioritizing your career growth and factoring in your personal circumstances to enable you to perform at your peak.
The challengesvery stressful and competitive environment. Although you are given the support by your managers and colleagues, most of the time, the stress still eats you and it's not good for your mental health.

    Best in Class
The good thingsThe best benefits, flexibility, opportunities, exposure and culture you can get and experience from a company. Very supportive management, all are professional and fair to all employees. This is the company that truly cares for their employees.
The challengesEveryone's so good at what they're doing, very stiff competition when it comes to promotion. It's a long career path when you start from bottom but if you're a fresh graduate from Big 3 universities you have the opportunity to be hired as associate manager (other than experienced employees).

P&G is a very good company
The good thingsHigh compensation package, diverse culture and flexibility. Work from home as well is great, you'll have a chance to work from home once a week.
The challengesNot promoting from within in contrast of their claim. They hire new graduates and appoint them as managers, associates train them. Office is far, it is located in BGC thus your high compensation will only go to transportation or lodging expenses.
