The CompanyPrimeEast Properties, Inc. (PEP), is a real estate development company incorporated in April of 1982 by a group of entrepreneurs. Its primary purpose was the consolidation of raw land properties and subsequently develop these properties into residential subdivision. While consistently pursuing a low-profile/high credibility corporate philosophy, it successfully started and completed several projects along the way. It is also the flagship of the Group of Companies consisting of six corporations engaged in diversified businesses.PEP's initial authorized capital of P20 million was increased several times and finally to P550.0 million after the approval by the Securities and Exchange Commission of the certificate of increase in capitalization in June 1997.Since its inception, its corporate strategy has been to concentrate its development efforts in the east corridor of Manila in order to become the largest real estate company in the area and place itself in a position to identify and acquire the best located properties available in the area while prices would still be low. At the same time the company has tried to consolidate its property acquisition in such a manner that would give it control over contiguous tracts of land sufficiently large in size to create the core of a new city.
